…With love, From Thunder Bay (Part 1)

I don’t often get up to my hometown of Thunder Bay – thanks to busy schedules and few vacation days, what used to be multi-annual trips (every holiday in university) has unfortunately been whittled down in the last few years or so to not much more than an annual trip, usually around Christmastime. So needless to say, it’s been a while since I’ve been to Thunder Bay in the fall. This year was different though, because we had an excuse to get us away from work and other obligations here – and really, who doesn’t love a wedding in the family?! The weather was absolutely gorgeous – I don’t think anyone was expecting to be outside in summer attire – 30 degree weather at thanksgiving in Thunder Bay is certainly not the norm!

Being the photography enthusiast that I am, I of course brought my camera along – I had a role to play in the ceremony itself, but still managed to snap a few shots. It was great too because I was able to observe and chat a bit with the pros with Izabela Pioro Photography, relax and hang out with some family I hadn’t seen in a very long time, and really just take in the day. The photos below are some that I took during the course of the day, as well as a couple of great shots snapped by my brother and my two uncles.

To Dad and Tami – Congrats. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding, and we were glad to have been there to share in your day.

To Tami – Welcome to the family! I wish you the best of luck […you are going to need it!! : ) ] – I’ve heard a rumour that we Stephensons are a bit of a crazy bunch!! : )
