Splendid Events at Wed By Hand

Earlier this month, I had a fantastic opportunity to get an insider’s peak at Wed By Hand, thanks to my good friend Amy, of Splendid Events. As Ottawa’s alternative Wedding show, Wed By Hand featured a number of fantastic local, handmade, eco-friendly and fair trade exhibitors. As a bonus, and in the DIY spirit of the event, a number of fabulous workshops were put on by some of the show’s exhibitors throughout the day.

What better way to start of the day than with a workshop on Top Wedding Tips and Tricks? Hosted by Splendid Events, and taught, of course, by Splendid Events owner and Creative Director, the fabulous Amy Karlin, this workshop had some super tips on how to save money and stay sane while planning your wedding. I was so thrilled to be there for the ride and snap some shots of the key moments and details of the workshop and the Splendid Events display.

For a great recap of the day, as well as info on some of the local business who provided treats and promos for Amy’s workshop, check out the Wed By Hand Wrap Up on the Splendid Event’s Blog. It’s also worth sticking around and browsing some of the other posts – Amy is full of tips, tricks, trends and advice for all your event planning endeavours (I can speak for experience!)

Getting married any time soon? Planning a corporate event? Amy is available to help with anything from the initial planning, to day-of coordination, to the whole planning/coordinating shebang. You can get in touch with Amy here!
